An unusual combination — and a deeply satisfying one. Volcanoes National Park for the gorillas: rainforest, altitude, mist, and one of the most intense wildlife encounters on earth. Then south to Amboseli: flat, wide, the great lakebed with Kilimanjaro directly overhead and Africa's most relaxed elephant herds in the foreground.
Two landscapes that could not be more different. Two experiences that are both among Africa's finest. Nine days to connect them into a single, coherent journey.
